Jonathan Timbers is a Labour councillor for Calder Ward. He says:

There’s an awful lot of work to do to build on Labour’s achievements in Calderdale and help individuals resolve their challenges. It’s like standing at the bottom of a very very big hill and trying to work out a way to the top. Happily I will have the advice and support of some marvellous Labour colleagues. They have delivered for the environment and local economy, transport and culture. I will strive to emulate them and keep making progress.
