Continuing our week of introducing you to our candidates; meet Diana Tremayne, our wonderful Labour Candidate for Todmorden Ward in the 2021 Local Elections!

Diana is absolutely ingrained in her local community; she spent several years as a Town Councillor, has been involved in the asset transfer of Todmorden College, and gets stuck in with everything from litter-picking to supporting local businesses.

She’s incredibly passionate about environmental and sustainability issues, as well as quality educational opportunities for people of all ages. Both are incredibly pertinent here in Calderdale where we’re at the forefront of the climate emergency, and going through a transition period in employment opportunities where education will be vital to ensure our wonderful residents have skills for life.

Diana will be an excellent Councillor, working alongside both Councillor Susan Press and Silvia Dacre for the people of Todmorden.
