The mood of the country was evident in our local election results, with Calder Valley gaining 2 new Labour councillors on Calderdale Council – Leah Webster for Ryburn ward, and Peter Judge for Rastrick ward, with Peter pictured here in the last hours of polling day. We also had wins for our candidates who were standing for re-election, being Diana Tremayne for Todmorden ward, Josh Fenton-Glynn for Calder ward, and Jane Scullion for Luddendenfoot ward. Thank you to all who voted for Labour!
